Different projects need different kinds of visuals

Sometimes one image has to sell the whole idea.

Sometimes the project needs movement, atmosphere and time.

Sometimes the design is still changing and the deadline is getting very close.

And sometimes you simply need a visualisation team that already knows how you work.

GAD is a Dubai-based architectural visualisation studio working with architects, designers and developers worldwide across stills, film, competitions, interactive experiences and ongoing visual support.

How we like to work

Bring us a project. Not just camera angles.

Send us the model.

The sketches.

The references.

The unfinished idea.

Tell us who needs convincing and what matters about the project.

Then we can work out the images together.

We’ll happily follow a precise brief when the view is already clear.

But when there is room to explore, we'll also bring angles, moments and ideas of our own to the table.

Architectural Stills

when one frame has to do a lot

A strong architectural image should do more than accurately represent a building.

It should make the idea clear.
Give the project atmosphere.
Put the right life around it.
And make someone want to keep looking.

We create architectural imagery from quiet, design-led frames to highly cinematic campaign visuals: always shaped around who the image is for and what it needs to communicate.

We work across

Exterior & interior imagery

Residential & hospitality
Mixed-use & commercial

Masterplans & large-scale developments

Marketing & launch campaigns

Design presentations

Lifestyle & narrative imagery

have a project that needs to be seen differently?

Film + Animation

some projects need more than a single moment

Film gives us something a still image can't:   time.

The approach.
The reveal.
The small moments that make architecture feel inhabited.

We create architectural films and animations that communicate the experience of a project rather than simply flying a camera through it.

From short cinematic sequences to complete project films, we develop the pacing, atmosphere, framing and visual narrative around the architecture.

We create:

Architectural films

Cinematic walkthroughs

Launch & marketing films

Masterplan animations

Short-form project films

Social & campaign cutdowns

Phasing & development sequences

If the project has a story, let's give it a timeline.

Competition Visualisation

When the design is moving & the deadline isn't

Competition work is different.

The architecture may still be evolving. Information arrives late. The number of possible views is endless.
And a handful of images have to communicate an entire proposal very quickly.

This is where our architectural background becomes particularly useful. We work with design teams to understand what the jury needs to see, what each image needs to explain and which moments are worth turning into the final frames.

Not simply: "Which camera should we render?"
But: "What does this image need to do?"

We can support:

Early visual direction

Camera & composition studies

Atmosphere development

Competition stills

Masterplan views

Narrative imagery

Fast-moving design iterations

Final presentation visuals

Working towards a submission?

Real-time + Interactive

sometimes people need to explore the project themselves

Not every project needs to be experienced through a predetermined camera.

For large developments, sales environments and complex projects, interactive visualisation can let the viewer move through the proposal, understand relationships and explore different parts of the design in real time.

Using real-time workflows, we create experiences that extend architectural visualisation beyond the still image or film.

Applications include:

Interactive architectural experiences

Real-time environments

Digital twins

Masterplan exploration

Sales & marketing experiences

Design presentations

Interactive project models

Phasing and option visualisation

Have a project that needs to be explored?

Studio Partnership

for studios that need visualisation more than once in a while

Visualisation demand rarely arrives neatly.

One month is quiet.

The next has three submissions, a client presentation, last-minute design changes and something that apparently needs to go out tomorrow.

Our Studio Partnership gives architecture and design practices reserved visualisation capacity with a team that gets to know the way they work.

Instead of briefing a different supplier every time, we become an ongoing extension of the studio.

The more we work together, the less needs explaining.

Prefer working project-by-project? We do that too.
The partnership is simply there for studios that need us more often.

Useful for practices that:

Need visualisation regularly

Have overlapping project deadlines

Want continuity across different projects

Need access to additional capacity without building a full in-house team

Value a visualisation partner who can contribute ideas as well as production

Think we could fit into your studio?

Not sure what you need?

Good.

You don't always need to arrive with a perfectly written visualisation brief.

Send us the project, where you are in the process and what you're trying to achieve.

We'll work out the rest together.
